About Kate

Kate Racovolis is a journalist, editor and communications specialist with nearly 15 years’ experience in the media in Australia and the UK.

Kate was previously editor of The Growth Agenda at The Australian newspaper and a former Forbes contributor. She is currently Features Editor of The Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Director magazine.

She has worked with directors and C-Suite leaders in multiple markets throughout her communications and journalism career. She also holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University in New York. 

Kate is passionate about advancing the next generation of media and communications professionals. She has been called on by leading academic institutions, including RMIT University’s School of Media and Communication, as a sessional academic and guest lecturer and has taught students in Melbourne and Singapore.

She is currently Co-President of the Columbia Association of Australia.
