Kate Racovolis an accomplished writer, editor and communicator with experience in publishing roles in the UK and Australia. She was previously editor of The Growth Agenda at The Australian newspaper, a business vertical covering media, marketing and advertising.

Kate has lived and worked in London, New York, Sydney and Melbourne. Throughout her career, she has edited numerous magazines and was also a regular contributor to Forbes.com, where she covered women-led business and entrepreneurship.

Kate is passionate about advancing the next generation of media and communications professionals. She has been called on by leading academic institutions, including RMIT University’s School of Media and Communication, as a sessional academic and guest lecturer. She has taught students in Melbourne and Singapore.

As a skilled presenter and moderator, Kate has hosted panels in the UK and Australia with business leaders on the topics media, marketing, architecture, design and the business of luxury.

Kate holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, where she specialised in magazine journalism, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne. At Columbia University, she was recognised for in-class excellence on the subject of the business of journalism. She is currently Co-President of the Columbia Association of Australia.
